UN Migration Video Project 

In Fall 2012, I was selected to produce a UN video on how to improve migration coverage as part of a three-member team with other Missouri School of Journalism students and a professional producer. We traveled to Paris in January 2013 to interview experts from UNESCO, the Panos Institute, IOM, the Geneva Centre for Security Policy, etc. on the representation of migration in the media and how best to improve poor coverage. In the end, we created a practical video targeted to journalists on how to improve migration media coverage that was presented at a private luncheon at the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations' Vienna Forum in February 2013.
